The legislative act determines notions of “discrimination”, “indirect discrimination”, “declared intention of discrimination” and “aiding discrimination”.
The law expends the list of features, under which discrimination is prohibited; the scope of the law; forms of discrimination; and authorities of the Human Rights Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, etc.
The following legislative acts were amended and supplemented: “On the Principles of Prevention and Counteraction Discrimination in Ukraine”, “On Securing Equal Rights and Opportunities for Men and Women” and the Civil Procedure Code of Ukraine.
The respective bill was registered under No. 4581.
